My Daily Night Cleansing Routine

HI Sweeties!

Finally a post that i have been planning for a long time! I want to make this right and perfect as all the products that i am going to mention is all my loves!~

Like my header, I am going to show you my cleansing routine for the night. On the Day, I basically just wash my face with the same cleanser so there is nothing to show.

Alright! Cut all this blabbering and let me start!

Product 1 used:
Oil Specialist Brightening Oil

It claims:
A cleansing oil that helps brighten dark skin, cleansing impurities and thick makeup with smooth touch, and removes debris from dead skin cells, which gives glow to the skin
  • Size: 200ml
  • Skin Type: All Skin Types
  • Suggested for: Whitening
I have been using this once it launched. This products just remains me of Shu Umera's cleansing oil. Having different type of cleansing oil with different purpose. They have a total of 4 different face cleansing oil from this line.
It's available in the following types:

- FRESH CLEANSING OIL (Cherryblossom)
- BRIGHTENING CLEANSING OIL (Prune)
- ANTI-AGING CLEANSING OIL (Green Tea and Acai Berry)
- ENRICHED CLEANSING OIL (Camellia and Avocado)

First, I am attracted by the packaging. I am such a sucker of packaging. haha~ I was also attracted by the idea of having different type of cleansing oil just like the Shu Umera's. Shu Umera is just too ex! I like spending too much on my cleansing oil. I am poor.... x}  And next thing attract me the most is the fragrance of it!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! It's so floral! As if I am putting flower on my face<3<3. I don't really like the oil based kind of makeup remover (come on, who like putting oil on their face??? What if my pores is clogged???) but I thought i should try~

My experience:

The first touch of the oil on my face kinda gross as i never used oil-based remover before. However, after rubbing them into my skin. the gross feeling i got disappear and i starts enjoying it! Its not as that oily like the fancl cleansing oil that i tried before. And after rubbing them, my makeup was easily breaking up without any force! I use this on my eyes at the last step to soften my mascara and eyeliner first. I really does it's job! And that's not all, the fragrance of the oil somehow allow me to enjoy this step of cleansing rather than "get over it and done" thoughts.
Then when i began rinsing them off (which i will rinse them after my eye makeup remover steps), the clear oil on my face turns milky. It's due to the contact of the water. This causes the cleansing oil to be removed from my face much easier! It doesn't went into my eyes too!

Pros:
  • Remove your makeup really well and easily. Does what it claims.
  • Is for all skintype
  • No clogged pores experience at all!
  • Smells real good!
 Cons:
  • Oil-based, so not everyone will like it
I have already used 2 bottles of it and are still loving it~ Cost is reasonable too at S$26. Even my sister-in-law is using this! I don't know though that it's brighten my face a not. It might works or might not as i didn't know whether this is the product that cause my face to be brighter. In all, I love it a lot!

Product 2 used:
Rice Water Bright Lip & Eye Remover
It claims:
As an Emulsion in Toner formula, it is separated into 2 layers with milk-colored emulsion on top and clear water base on bottom. Keeps the eye and mouth area from dehydrating, removing makeup without irritation.
  • Size:120ml
  • Skin Type: All Skin Types
  • Suggested for: Whitening

This product is recommended by my sister-in-law. She has been using this for years! Before that, my second sister reccomend me this too but I always thought that there is no use for using eye & lip makeup remover if your face makeup remover works. I bought my first bottle because fake eyelashes' glue is really difficult to clean out! I am really happy that this product is oil-free too. However, I am not a believer on what they claim since you can obviously sees 2 different layers in the bottles. However, since a lot of people around it tells me how good it is.

My experience:
I was always really forgetful when i first used this product. Or should i say lazy. It's either laziness kills it or forgetting to shake it kills it. But eventually i am used to this steps and can't not skip it! I have to say, "The Faceshop" product is just to nice to smell!!!! gosh! haha~ I will use this with 1 or 2 piece of cotton pads and place them on my eyes for about 30secs so to melt the eyes makeup down. After that, i will lightly wipe them from different directions. Top to bottom, left to right, Bottom to top(mainly for the eyeliner on my waterline and my mascara). Most of them will disappear! Except for 1 area, My upper waterline. There is always abit left inbetween my lashes! So if this happens, I will use a cotton bud soaked with the remover solutions and lightly wipe them. They cames off easily~ I have already uses them product for more than 2 years and uses bottles(5-6?) of it~

Pros:
  • Remove your makeup really well and delicately.
  • Is for all skintype
  • Do not experience any milia seeds (oil seeds around the eyes)
  • Not oily at all, suitable to use it even without washing them away after that.
  • Smells real good!
 Cons:
  • To me, due to the watery solutions, uses up pretty fast (about 2-3 months duration)

Product 3 used:

Brightening Rice Water Cleansing Foam

It claims:
Soft, creamy lather provides gentle cleansing that last during cleansing.
  • Size: 150ml
  • Skin Type: All Skin Types
  • Suggested for: Whitening
This is one product that i have use the longest of all. Previously, I always have rough patches around my chin and at my jawline area. This is when i did not takes care of my skin properly. My Sister-in-law introduced me this and says this is really good for sensitive skin and dry skin. Although i have oily skin, i thought i should give it a try.

My experience:

I have to say this product really feels like cream! A denser wipe cream, i say. This products works best with a bit of water for it to lather. And the product just glide on really smoothly on my skin. At first, I am not used to it as i previously prefer those cleanser with beads, the harsher kind.  While lathering, your face will gradually turns white, meaning it's much better and it's the foam that are cleansing your skin. So more foam, the better. After rinsing it off, you can really feels your skin to be really clean but moisture at the same time. Not the dry up clean feel. This is the main reason why i like it. I have already used properly 10 tubes of this. Each tube can last at least 4 months. I kinda used up faster ever since i have Clarisonic Mia2 though... haha

Pros:
  • A really smooth texture
  • For all skintype. (really good for sensitive and dry skin)
  • Lather really well
  • Feels moisture after using too
  • Have really good amount of product to it!
 Cons:
  • Hurts when went into eyes
2 words... Love it! haha... Really have nothing to it since i have already uses this for so long. I always have a backup with me~

Product 4 used(LAST):
Clarisonic Mia 2 Sonic Skin Cleansing System (Pink)

It claims:
Traditional methods of cleansing don’t get your skin as clean as you’d think. Fortunately, the lead inventor of Sonicare discovered a breakthrough in how we cleanse. Using Sonic Technology, Clarisonic’s patented micro-massage motion works within skin’s natural elasticity to gently remove the impurities traditional methods leave behind- leaving skin softer, smoother and more beautiful.
  • Cleanses 6x better than with your hands alone in just 60 seconds
  • Works with skin, not against it, to gently massage away impurities trapped within pores
  • Prepares skin for better absorption of creams, serums and moisturizers
  • Gentle enough to use 2x a day

Kit Includes

  • Clarisonic Mia 2
  • Universal Voltage Charger
  • Sensitive Brush Head
  • 1 oz. trial size cleanser
  • Protective travel case

Clarisonic cleansing system is something that i have always wanted! I have been looking at it for more than 2 years, or maybe 3 years. I heard alot of good review about this from the youtube beauty vlogger and blogger too. However, the only thing that have restricted me to buy is the price. Also, on earlier days, you can't find Clarisonic locally in Singapore. It's only on this year March when one of my close neighbour are going to America that I have decided to buy it. Maybe because I am kinda over the "amazing makeup" that doesn't excite me at all currently. Also, it's so much cheaper buying them in the States! Singapore just sarted to sells them at S$249. Mine cost less than S$200. I can't remember the exact price... Sorry~

My experience:
Before using the Clarisonic, you will have to charge them which takes hell lot of a time to charge and I totally do not understand why. I think i took 1 full day to charge them.

Before you start, you will need to know that you will have to section you face into different part. Forehead (20 seconds), nose/chin (20 seconds), and both cheeks (10 seconds each). I didn't really follow the steps as I am just used to start from my cheeks then to my forehead then to my nose/chin. However, the time given are almost the same for all sections. I didn't feel any pain from the brush at all. The bristle is really soft, unlike the img shown. I use a bit of a force a first but realised it's wrong to do that as after cleansing my face, I can see a bit of redness there.

For the first week after about 30min from cleansing, my face turns really oily. And i am serious, real oily. I got shocked and later realised that it's common for beginner as our skin are not used that "clean face" we have. Therefore, they produce more oil to moisture our face.   It was said that your face will be more oily than usual for 2 weeks. Some of my friends around be (whom i introduced them this alot! hehex) experience some breakouts. However, the breakouts recover really fast. Till now, i always use this at night.

So after using for more than 3 months, I felt that my skin is much smoother and cleaner. My blackheads are not so obvious too. I do feel that my skin is much brighter for the first 1-2 month but now, i am not very sure (as i am not sure if it is my demand is higher?) But i know that a lot of people can really see the difference and i receive a few compliments:) The most most MOST IMPORTANT THING is that I can really feels my face have much better absorption on my skincare products! This is not just from but my colleagues too!

Pros:
  • Can cleanse your face much better
  • makes your face brighter (this really depends on your own skin)
  • reduce blackhead (personally)
  • act as daily exfoliation
  • cause better absorption of creams, serums and moisturizers
  • magnetic charger
  • compact, comes with good protection covers too
 Cons:
  • That stupid price! sob sob
  • head brush is expensive too!
  • brush wasn't easy to dry even with holes on the cap to protect damage
  • charging time is too long!
  • might not be suitable for all (though they have sensitive brush head, some might still not like it)
I love this alot! Although i have a few complaints to it, but i really like the fact that my face feels clean everyday. Especially for me, i put makeup almost everyday so i really want a clean face to put my skincare. If not, there is no point in my skincare product since it can penetrate in. However, due to the price, if you would to ask me whether is it worth buying, i would say yes if you have that extra money. I personally took almost 3 years for my decision to buying it~

I hope this LONG post helps~ Below is my youtube video on how i use them:)

LIKE IF YOU THINK IT'S GOOD! HEHEHEX
